On Joy.

By the grace of the Good Lord, I have been redeemed.
Tomorrow is Good Friday, and to us Christ followers, that date bares with it a heavy burden.
Our Savior was killed on this day. He was beaten, and nailed to a cross.
Crucified for the wrong that I would one day commit.
I am baffled every day by this. Even more so when the event is nearing.
And because of all of this, I am thankful.

Whenever I blog, I rant, and I rave about things that are bothersome, or that I am passionate about.
Currently all I can think about is how blessed I am.
I know and love some of the most incredible people in the world.

In The Science of Sleep, Stephane, the main character, is in love with Stephanie, his female counterpart. She is creative, funny, lively, and everything Stephane loves. She, on the other hand, does not love Stephane. So she eventually asks him, "Why me?"
His response, simple and perfect, is, "Because everyone else is boring, and you're different."

"Because everyone else is boring, and you're different."

I am on cloud nine, because right now, the person in my life that is different thinks that I am different too.

Life is beautiful.
I am thankful.

Christ died so that I could live a joyful life. So that I could shout his praises and further his kingdom by loving people.
And by being different.
And Praise Him, I get to be.
